Joker

In this week's episode we talkabout the Oscar winning, anti-hero story: 'Joker'. With the release of the sequel just last month, it felt a good time to rewatch and reflect on Todd Phillips' first time out with the Clown prince of Crime. How has it aged in the five years since its release? Does it handle mental health and Arthur's deterioration in a respectful way? Why did they feel the need to show Batman's origin story yet again? There's a lot to discuss, and a lot to unpack. We also lead a draft pick of 2019 films, a year that Gwilym claims is the best year in cinema since his birth. Enjoy the episode!
