Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

This week we talkabout an MCU film that held our hand as we trepidatiously wandered into a new era for the popular franchise: 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings'. We actually spoke about this in the early days of the podcast, so it's been good to reflect on the film and how it's aged in the four years since its release. We praise Trevor, criticise CGI and look ahead to the next stage in Marvel's slate of releases.
We also conduct a draft pick of films in Marvel's 'Multiverse Saga' and ultimately decide whether Shang-Chi deserves a place on our DVD shelf. Enjoy!

Imagine if Bus Boy had stuck as a name for Shang-Chi, so much so that his Dad starts calling him it, and Trevor saw him kicking ass on the news. I'm sure they contemplated it, but perhaps thought twice when they came to the title. 'Bus Boy and the Legend of the Ten Ring Roads' doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
